Exploring Ways to Engage Employees
EarthShare New England is hosting the second Green Teams meeting and you or your sustainability coordinator/green team member is invited! Join us on the morning of August 7th.
Our first meeting back in April was a hit! The Green Teams from the University of Rhode Island, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Hasbro, Dimeo Construction and Dassault Systemes SIMULIA attended. Attendees heard from speakers (Eric Swain, VP of Key Account Sales, UnitedHealthcare and David Bordieri, Waste Prevention Coordinator, RI Resource Recovery Corporation) and enjoyed lots of roundtable discussion on greening up the workplace.

As part of our dedication to helping individuals and organizations build a healthy and sustainable future, EarthShare also convenes Green Team chapter meetings in several cities across the country. These meetings bring together sustainability and environmental leaders to share ideas, educate each other and provide a private forum to discuss the environmental issues affecting today’s modern workplace.
Our forums allow professionals to share their expertise on topics such as employee engagement; LEED certification; energy offsets; how to “green” your office and office supplies; and much more. Meeting several times each year and staying connected via online communities, our Green Teams help build an environmental community through the management and flow of ideas.
